Mo’s Longevity Smoothie

Cool, green and chock full of nutrients, this month’s Healthy Recipe is brought to you by Maurice “Mo” Samuels, an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and Plant-Based Chef who joined us for Wellness Trails earlier this year. Mo’s Longevity Smoothie is the perfect post-workout reward!

Mo’s Longevity Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 16 oz spring/filtered water
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1/2 cup frozen wild blue berries
  • 1/2 ripe avocado
  • 1 tablespoon Spirulina powder
  • 1/2 cup ripe frozen mangoes
  • 1/4 cup mixed nuts (optional)

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend for 30-45 seconds.
  2. Pour & enjoy.
