Farmers' Markets sustain the community -- and good health
Find delicious nutrition at fun, affordable markets Cape-wide
Good nutrition is the foundation of good health. Plant-based diets can help fight inflammation, and chronic inflammation is a contributor to long-term health problems.
Finding fresh produce is easy during Cape Cod summers. Farmers’ Markets are a fun, affordable, sustainable way to maintain good nutrition.
Cape Cod Healthcare takes a direct interest in healthy nutrition, supporting these organizations through our Community Benefits Grants. Our partnerships with non-profit organizations like Sustainable Cape CAPE, which promotes these markets and agricultural education and events across our region, is among the groups who have received CCHC grants.
As summer winds down and fall approaches, take some time to visit local Farmers’ Markets to support area growers, sustainable small business and, of course, the best nutrition and health.
