Noom: A new way to manage healthy eating
Employee benefits is offering a rebate for a new app-based nutrition and lifestyle tool. Noom is a downloaded app that uses effective task-based experience to help users make daily progress in healthier eating and weight management. The annual subscription for Noom is $195, and CCHC will reimburse $150 to Employee Health Plan (EHP) members.
Fitness classes and subscriptions are supported for Employee Health Plan members
CCHC staff who participate in the Employee Health Plan are eligible for a $150 annual reimbursement for fitness classes, live or on-demand exercise classes or videos and even exercise equipment subscriptions through CCHC.

Physical Activity Challenge – 5 credits (April-June) Earn credits for doing consistent physical activity such as walking, running, aerobics, swimming and more. If you have a fitness tracker, link it with the health portal to automatically upload your daily steps. No tracker? No problem. You can enter steps manually. (On average, 10 minutes of physical activity equal 1,000 steps.)
