Employees at Work — and Play — at Cape Cod Healthcare
We invite you to explore how career meets lifestyle at Cape Cod Healthcare with a few members of our team.
A new recruitment campaign features different CCHC team members representing what is so unique and special about Cape Cod Healthcare: the ability to work – and play – on Cape Cod. We invite you to meet some of our team and learn how they enjoy that place where career meets lifestyle.
In this edition, meet Jack Faherty, Food Services and Staffing Manager; Melissa Keefe, RN; Breast Surgeon Dr. Naomi Kalliath and General Surgeon Dr. Matt Kalliath; and Sarah Cushing, Human Resources Manager.
Meet Jack, a Food Services and Staffing Manager who has been with Cape Cod Healthcare for over two years — and is a team player, whether on or off the court.
“I work with a really incredible group of people in the Nutrition Food Service department,” which is comprised of around 60 team members, says Jack. “Our biggest objective is to do what we need to do in terms of making sure everyone is getting their nutrients but also having fun while we do it.”
Meet Melissa, a Surgical Care Nurse who has been with Cape Cod Healthcare for over 20 years - and is a lover of beachside family time.
After going away to college and spending time traveling, Melissa returned home to the Cape. “I came back purposefully knowing that I wanted to live and work in this really special, unique place,” she says. “I love feeling like I'm taking care of a community I consider [to be] an extended family, and I'm really proud of that.”
Meet Breast Surgeon Dr. Naomi Kalliath and General Surgeon Dr. Matt Kalliath, who joined Cape Cod Healthcare within the past three years – and are fans of finding secret kettle ponds for family swims.
“We started our careers here, and we fully expect to stay here,” says Dr. Matt Kalliath. “It'll be great to see how Cape Cod Hospital grows over the number of years with us, and we're excited for the future.”
Meet Sarah, a Human Resources Manager who has been with Cape Cod Healthcare for over five years - and is a frequent runner along the Cape Cod Canal Bikeway.
“I started out as an HR specialist and over the course of four years I have moved up to the level of manager,” says Sarah. “I've been able to make that change because I have great support from my leadership, my manager and the entire HR department.”
