June through October - Hyannis HyArts Artist Shanties
Opens at 11 a.m.
Step into the vibrant world of Cape Cod creativity at the Hyannis HyArts Artist Shanties. Located just steps apart on Ocean Street and along Hyannis Harbor, these 12 seaside shanties feature local artists and artisans showcasing and selling their handmade work. Discover a wide variety of media including ceramics, mosaics, wood turning, fiber art, paintings, photography and jewelry. Meet the makers, watch them work and take home a unique piece of Cape Cod art.

Sunday, June 1 - Walk for Hope
All walks start at 1 p.m.
Three locations: Falmouth, Hyannis or Orleans
For more than 50 years, Housing Assistance has provided critical services to our neighbors experiencing housing instability and homelessness on Cape Cod and the Islands. In 2024, Housing Assistance served 6,500 clients through education, stabilization, prevention and services for the homeless. Every dollar raised through the Walk for Hope will stay local and connect our neighbors to safe, stable housing that serves as a bridge to healthy families and thriving communities across the Cape and Islands.

Saturday, June 14 - Cape Cod Baseball League Opening Day
The Cape Cod Baseball League opening day games on June 14 will be highlighted by a rematch of last year’s Cape League Championship Finals, as the defending champion Harwich Mariners host the Bourne Braves. Since Cape Cod Healthcare is the official sponsor of the league, watch for announcements regarding two staff appreciation nights in Hyannis and Falmouth in July.
Sunday, June 15 - Greater Hyannis Chamber Father’s Day Car Show
8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Main Street, Hyannis
The Greater Hyannis Chamber of Commerce Annual Father’s Day Car Show is the largest non-sporting event held on a single day on the Cape. More than 350 cars will be on display on Hyannis Main Street! Free for attendees. Featuring a variety of vehicles from hot rods and to classic cars of every era, the Greater Hyannis Chamber of Commerce Father’s Day Car Show is Cape Cod’s largest one-day spectator event. Businesses and restaurants will be open for shopping and dining, and various food trucks will be available throughout the show.
June 18 - August 15 - Art in the Park
Kate Gould Park, Chatham
Local artists have created vibrant, one-of-a-kind whale and shark sculptures, on display on the front lawn of Kate Gould Park for the Annual Art in the Park. These unique pieces will be auctioned to benefit the Chatham Chamber of Commerce and the Merchants Association, supporting local events such as Oktoberfest and Christmas by the Sea. Proceeds from the auction will also help support Chatham's nonprofit organizations. Plus, check out Oars in the Stores through September 1, where local businesses host artist-designed oars in their storefronts.
Sunday, June 22 - Chatham Harbor Run 10k
New start time - 8 a.m.
Monomoy Regional Middle School, 425 Crowell Road, Chatham
Kick off the summer with a scenic 6.2-mile run along the shore in Chatham. Sponsored by the Cape Cod Athletic Club, the annual Chatham Harbor Run starts and finishes near Monomoy Regional Middle School. Runners will enjoy stunning views of the Chatham Lighthouse, picturesque Shore Road and the iconic Chatham Bars Inn. New this year: A two-person team relay option!
