Wear Red for a ReasonWear Red for a Reason

Last year, team members at Cape Cod Healthcare Neurosurgery showed their support by sporting red for National Wear Red Day.

Rock your red!

National Wear Red Day is Friday, Feb. 6, 2026. The day is observed on the first Friday of February each year to raise awareness about heart disease—a leading cause of death for both men and women in the U.S.

To help spread the word about the risks of heart disease and stroke, we invite you to send in photos of you and your teams wearing red to be featured on our social media channels (Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn).

Please email photos of National Wear Red Day to pulse@capecodhealth.org. Deadline to submit photos for social media is by 1 p.m. on Feb. 6. Photos received after this date will appear in the February Pulse edition later in the month. Friendly tip—plan ahead and snap a team photo well before Feb. 6!

Throughout the month of February, we will also be observing American Heart Month by highlighting ways we can take care of our heart health. So dig into your closet, pull out your boldest reds and let’s paint the workplace with purpose the first Friday of February.

Thank you!
