STAR Recognition Week (Nov. 10-14) brought energy, appreciation and plenty of red-carpet fun to both Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital. The red-carpet events on Nov. 10 and 12 were filled with smiles, laughter and genuine moments of connection as team members celebrated the core values at the heart of the STAR Recognition Program: Service, Teamwork, Accountability and Respect.
This year’s Power Station experience, which featured four themed stops, added an engaging new twist to the celebration. As Team Members moved along the Red-Carpet Challenge path, they selected their STAR strength, posed for fun photos at the red-carpet photo booth, added their snapshots to the display boards and picked up gifts to wrap up the journey.
Another highlight of the week was the Team STARBoard Contest, where units across the system brought STAR values to life with creativity, connection and serious team spirit. Building on that excitement, the launch of a systemwide push to Shine From Your Site, empowered every team across all CCHC entities and remote locations to create their own STAR Boards, recognize one another in real time and keep the celebration going year-round.
“STAR Recognition Week reminded us why our culture is so special,” says Bridget Torres, STAR Committee Chair. “Every photo, every board and every moment reflected our Team Members standing strong in their values and lifting one another up. I encourage everyone to visit the EMPOWERMENTU Hub to relive the celebration.”
