Rocking Our Red: Raising Awareness TogetherRocking Our Red: Raising Awareness Together

Teams across Cape Cod Healthcare showed up for National Wear Red Day on Feb. 6, filling our inbox with photos of colleagues proudly rocking their red. From clinical spaces and rehab teams to office settings and surgical departments, the color of the day was festive and full of meaning.

Observed on the first Friday in February, National Wear Red Day shines a light on heart disease, a leading cause of death for both men and women in the United States. By wearing red, our teams helped spark important conversations about heart health, stroke prevention and the small lifestyle changes that can make a big difference.

“Thank you for promoting heart health,” says Victoria Bowen, operations manager at Outpatient Endoscopy & Pain Management Centers and Falmouth Hospital Outpatient Surgical Center. “I am a heart survivor. This campaign means so much to me.”

Whether it was coordinated red sweaters, heart-themed accessories or even New England Patriots gear, every photo reflected creativity, camaraderie and a shared commitment to raising heart health awareness.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate, snap a photo and send it in! Enjoy clicking through the slideshow of team photos below.
