Employees at Work — and Play — at Cape Cod Healthcare
We invite you to explore how career meets lifestyle at Cape Cod Healthcare with a few members of our team.
A 2023 recruitment campaign features different CCHC team members representing what is so unique and special about Cape Cod Healthcare: the ability to work – and play – on Cape Cod. We invite you to meet some of our team and learn how they enjoy that place where career meets lifestyle.
In the latest edition, meet Matt DiBona, Physical Therapist; Jessica Ellis, Occupational Therapist; Audrey Sanchez, an Environmental Services Lead; and Cecilia Phelan-Stiles, Senior Manager, HR Communications (Interpreter Services).
Meet Matt, an outpatient Physical Therapist who has been with Cape Cod Healthcare for almost two years – and an outdoor enthusiast, from putting greens to beach scenes.
“I first wanted to become a physical therapist after having numerous sports injuries, playing football and other types of things. I always wanted to be the one to help someone get out of pain and get back to normal.”
Meet Jessica, an Occupational Therapist who has been with Cape Cod Healthcare for two years – and a foodie at heart, whether trying out local restaurants or recipes at home.
“Cape Cod Healthcare supports me in my job by providing us with a beautiful facility, with an amazing new gym and great equipment so we can provide excellent care to our patients with the most up-to-date, advanced quality care.”
Meet Audrey, an Environmental Services Lead who has been with Cape Cod Healthcare for almost 19 years – and a fan of exploring the shops and sights of Main Street, Hyannis.
“At 7 o’clock in the morning, if [coworkers] see me, they are happy because I say, “Hey, everybody, good morning! That’s the attitude for today.”
Meet Ceci, a Senior Human Resources Manager for Interpreter Services who has been with Cape Cod Healthcare for almost 23 years - and a dedicated yogi who nurtures a sense of balance.
Prior to arriving at Cape Cod Healthcare, Ceci said she never thought of working in hospitals or healthcare. “I saw an ad many years ago for interpreter services,” says Ceci. “I just had my first son, Chris, and I said, ‘Let me take a look at it,’ and I loved it. I loved going to the hospital and connecting with the patients who couldn’t communicate and that’s when I realized this is what I wanted to do.”
