JML Care Center recognized nationally for short-term rehab and long-term care
JML Care Center was awarded the U.S. News and World Reports designation of Best Nursing Home in their annual review of skilled nursing facilities for 2021, one of only 21% of all skilled nursing facilities, nationally.
JML, specializing in post-hospital care for orthopedic and cardiac patients, stroke recovery patients and long-term skilled nursing, was recognized with the rating of “High Performing” – the top possible rating -- for both Short-term Rehabilitation and Long-term Care. This national recognition is given only to those centers that satisfy the U.S. News and World Reports assessment of key services and consistent performance in quality measures.

JML was compared to more than 15,000 skilled nursing facilities and was judged on factors that affect patient and resident care, safety and outcomes. This year, COVID-19 data was used alongside other measurements and related factors on choosing a nursing home or short-term rehab center during a pandemic.
The designation as Best Long-term Care facility aims to provide prospective residents with analysis of staffing, success in preventing ER visits and pneumonia and vaccination rates. The short-term rating incorporates quality measures including consistency of nursing staff and fall prevention.
