"Happiness for Heroes" comes from Sandwich kids Student video connects the community and caregivers

When students and teachers at Sandwich's STEM Academy were struggling to find ways to connect with each other and the community during the pandemic, teachers Debra Morris and Jeff Duffany had an idea – a video of thanks created by students for the staff of Cape Cod Healthcare.

The 7th and 8th grade students came up with a number of ideas as the focus of their video, and together they chose “Happiness for Heroes” because it served a variety of needs on so many levels.
