Fourth of July on Cape Cod

Ready to make the 250th Fourth of July one to remember? Whether you’re catching a patriotic parade, watching fireworks light up the sky or keeping the kids entertained with family-friendly fun, Cape Cod has everything you need to celebrate Independence Day in style. Also, be sure to catch the 250th anniversary special drone show in Hyannis!
Orleans First Friday
Friday, July 3
The perfect way to kick off your Fourth of July weekend! Orleans First Friday is a free community celebration held on the first Friday of July, August and September featuring live music, local shops and pop-ups from 5–8 p.m. A complimentary town trolley connects the different business hubs around town, making it easy to explore everything the evening has to offer. Cape Cod Healthcare is proud to be a community champion sponsor of this festive summer event.
Mashpee Wampanoag Powwow
July 3-5, 10 a.m.-7 p.m. daily
483 Great Neck Road, South Mashpee
Experience the culture and traditions of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe at the annual Powwow, held at the tribal headquarters in Mashpee. This beloved three-day gathering brings together generations of Indigenous communities and visitors from near and far. Experience traditional dancing, drumming, and storytelling, along with Native American crafts, food vendors and games for all ages. Don’t miss the powerful fireball ceremony along with the spirited drum and singing contests.
Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival
July 10-19
The Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival is one of summer’s most beloved Cape-wide celebrations. For just $5 per garden, you can wander through some of the most beautiful and creative private gardens on the Cape. All proceeds support local nonprofits, so every visit gives back to the community.

Gardens are only one part of the festival. Take in workshops and lectures presented by leading horticulturalists; discover promotions at participating nurseries; sign up for an art class to learn how to paint hydrangeas; or watch a painting demonstration by Cape Cod artists.
Amplify POC Cape Cod

Hyannis Village Green
Celebrate culture, creativity and community at the 5th Annual Amplify POC Summer Festival on Hyannis Village Green. This free, all-welcome celebration brings together culture, creativity and connection. This summer festival includes live music by BTA Band and DJ Juvinile, local vendors, delicious food, tropical beverages, beer and wine, community art and hip-hop performances by Dance Therapy 508. Kids will love the bouncy house, face painting and games, while community resources will be on hand for families of all backgrounds.
Love Local Fest

Love Local Fest, brought to you by Love Live Local, is a free event that features 75 local makers, artisans, artists, farmers and small businesses. Browse, shop and sample your way through the best the Cape has to offer, all while enjoying live local entertainment and plenty of opportunities to connect with your community.
