What’s Happening Cape Cod - December EditionWhat’s Happening Cape Cod — February Edition

February may be the shortest month of the year, but it’s packed with exciting events across the Cape. From the craftsmanship of a boat builders show to the indulgence of a chocolate festival and family fun at a winter carnival, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

The Boat Builders Show on Cape Cod

Jan. 31-Feb. 2
Hyport Conference Center, 35 Scudder Avenue, Hyannis

The Boat Builders Show on Cape Cod was created 19 years ago to showcase boats built by smaller, independent boat builders. It is one of the few boat shows in the country dedicated to providing these builders an opportunity to showcase their work and demonstrate to the boating public the level of quality and personal service that is available.

Friday: 2-7 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; and Sunday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Annual Osterville Chocolate Festival

This sweet celebration features an array of chocolate-themed activities, including a Chocolate Dessert Contest (with a special children’s category), chocolate samples, family crafts and retail promotions at participating Osterville shops. Dog parade leaves promptly at 11 a.m. for a quick jaunt around the village. Interested in participating in the baking contest? Whether you’re a fan of classic chocolate cakes, innovative chocolate-infused creations, or anything in between, The Osterville Village Library wants to see (and taste!) your most delicious, most chocolatey dessert. This is your chance to dazzle a panel of judges and fellow chocolate lovers with your baking prowess. Bring your chocolate masterpiece to the library between 10 a.m. and 11:45 a.m. on the day of the event. Please ensure your dessert is ready for judging and display!
