Doggone Cute: Your ‘Paws-tive’ Photos

Cape Cod Healthcare team members flood our inbox with adorable pics of their pooches

We asked, you delivered. 

In the last edition of The Pulse, we sent out a call to all pet owners asking for photos of their furry friends. We received nearly 30 photos of your pups, both large and small and everything in between, photographed in a variety of settings: Relaxing on sandy shores, sitting in the garden, enjoying a boat ride, taking a snooze on the couch with their favorite stuffed animal, lounging by the pool or waiting for a tennis ball to be thrown.

We loved all of your photos and we are sending lots of smooches to all of your pooches! Thank you all for sharing your beloved pets with us. We hope you enjoy clicking through the slideshow of photos.

Rescue Benny’s favorite hobbies include cuddling his stuffed animals, stealing socks, going to doggie daycare and pulling down the curtains so he can watch the birds outside, says his owner, Craig, in security operations at CCH.

The Fab Four: Bernese Mountain dogs Gordie, Gabbi, Gronk and Sailor (shared by Brian, a Safety and Security Officer at Falmouth Hospital).

A Corgi named Birdie, five months old, shared by owner Christine, LPN, VNA of Cape Cod.

Mini Aussie named Bodhi, 2 years old. “Birdie (previous slide) and Bodhi are best friends,” says Christine, LPN, VNA of Cape Cod. “They love biting each other’s faces during the day and cuddling at night.”

Buddy Guy, a 14-year-old Pug, and Greyson, a 10-year-old hairless Dachshund, are both rescue dogs. Owner Craig, who works in security operations at CCH, says Mr. Guy enjoys bossing people around and taking walks with the help of his doggie wheelchair. Greyson loves stealing toys from his brothers, burrowing under any blanket and eating apples.

Bassett Hound Consuelo, shared by Flavio at Seaside Pediatrics, is two years old and was born in Florida. Her younger sister, Frida, is also featured in this slideshow.

Boxer Lab mix Dasiey Mae Consuelo, who turns 11 on September 19, “loves hanging out with her brother, Jonathon, running around in the backyard and dressing up!” shares owner Julie, RN, of the VNA.

Rescue Django, a 5-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix. When Django isn’t busy taking naps, he loves going for walks and chasing tennis balls (shared by Craig in security operations at CCH).

Dolly, a 9-year-old Brussells Griffin, enjoys life along the coast. “She is my everything,” says Nellie, who works in Medical Records at JML.

“Ebony Rose waits for the next snack coming her way from my kids,” says Melanie, a medical coder for Cape Cod Healthcare.

Eddie, a 7-year-old Shih Tzu, takes a beach break while kayaking the Centerville River (shared by Susan in Strategy and Government).

Puppy Frida, a Basset Hound born in Florida, moved to Cape Cod last month, shares Flavio from Seaside Pediatrics. Her older sister, Consuelo, is also featured in this slideshow.

Layla, a Lab Shepherd mix, is passionate about tennis balls and is a master at catching them, shares owner Lisa in Marketing Communications.

Lincoln, a Fox Hound Mix, always steals his owner’s spot at the table when she works from home. “If only he could do the work,” jokes Denise in HR.

Loki, an 11-year-old Rhodhesian Ridgeback, catches a nice sea breeze at Dowses Beach (shared by Susan in Strategy and Government).

Lucy, a four-year-old Aussie Shepherd mix, takes in the sights at Grist Mill Creek in West Yarmouth. Mom Cindy, a nurse navigator for the VNA, shares that Lucy is a snuggler and bunny enthusiast!

Ona, a French Brittany, is all dressed up for the Fourth! “She loves adventures and hunting,” says Linda, a Laboratory Support Tech at Falmouth Hospital.

Tucker, a 3-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, “loves to howl with his squeaker toys, but he’s not so great at puzzles!” says owner Elizabeth, who works in payroll.

Lab Woody enjoys the good life on the water. “He is such a wonderful dog! Handsome too, don’t you think?” says owner Jessica, Neurosurgeons of Cape Cod in Hyannis.
