Week in Photos: Celebrations Packed With Fun
In celebration of National Hospital Week (May 12-18) and National Nurses Week (May 6-12), Cape Cod Healthcare hosted several special events, including cookouts at Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital, local ice cream trucks and meals for overnight staff; and cookie platters were delivered for all outpatient staff. In addition, CCHC team members received backpacks as a token of appreciation!
To highlight the annual weeks in review, we put together a slideshow of photos featuring team members having fun at the cookouts, workers behind the scenes, hospital nurses gathering for special breakfasts and staff chilling out with cool afternoon delights. You'll also notice many photos of team members sporting their new backpacks and having a little fun with them.

Cookouts, Cool Treats and Backpacks
During Hospital Week, Team Members were treated to cookouts at Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital featuring Italian sausages, hamburgers, BBQ chicken and meatball in marinara sauce paired with tasty sides such as tomato cucumber salad, baked beans and potato salad.
Inside scoop: Right outside the hospitals, local ice cream trucks served scoops of deliciousness like sea salt caramel truffle ice cream and Moose Tracks with peanut butter cups and fudge swirls. During the cookouts, staff made a fashion statement with their new backpacks and enjoyed striking a pose with their new accessories!
Nurses Week Breakfasts
In honor of National Nurses Week earlier this month, the annual Nurses Week Breakfasts were held at Cape Cod Hospital and Falmouth Hospital! Teams were treated to a delicious buffet, including scrambled eggs, French toast casserole, egg sandwiches and a smoke salmon platter, while catching up with colleagues. A huge thank you to all the nurses who make a difference in the lives of our patients – we appreciate the dedication and passion you bring to your roles every day!
