Feb. 2-4 The Boat Builder’s Show

The Boat Builders Show on Cape Cod was created 16 years ago to showcase boats built by smaller, independent boat builders. It is one of the few boat shows in the country dedicated to providing these builders an opportunity to showcase their work and demonstrate to the boating public the level of quality and personal service that is available.

Sweeten the season with this celebration that features an array of chocolate-themed activities, including a Chocolate Dessert Contest (with a special children’s category), chocolate samples, family crafts, retail promotions at participating Osterville shops, and more! The popular dog parade begins at 11 a.m. Bring your pooch and walk a quick loop around the village. Prizes for all attendees.

Feb. 24 and 25 The James Bond Experience: Music Behind the Man

The name’s Bond. James Bond. Some say the music behind the legend was as intriguing as the man himself. You’ll get to experience the iconic music of Bond films spanning more than five decades, from classics by Shirley Bassey and Paul McCartney to blockbuster hits by Adele and Billie Eilish. A thrilling musical escapade is guaranteed. The performance, part of the Cape Cod Symphony’s POPS! Series, is conducted by Gerald Steichen.

Two performances: Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m.

Barnstable Performing Arts Center, 744 West Main St., Hyannis
