Strong Island Nature Walk

Strong Island, Chatham
Join Chatham Conservation Foundation (CCF) staff and trustees for a guided walk around Strong Island, one of Pleasant Bay’s ecological treasures. Along the way, you’ll learn about the island’s fascinating history, native flora and fauna, and CCF’s ongoing conservation efforts in Chatham. Tickets are $40 per person.
La Tavola: An Italian Feast Under the Stars

Outside Christ the King Parish, 5 Jobs Fishing Road, Mashpee
For one enchanting evening, Mashpee turns into Little Italy during La Tavola, an al fresco Italian feast under the stars. Four hundred guests will enjoy a five-course dinner prepared by Pink Door Catering while being serenaded by Italian tenor Aaron Caruso. Throughout the evening, talented young performers from Steeple Street Music Academy will add to the festive atmosphere. Hosted by the Mashpee Chamber of Commerce, tickets are $80 per person.
Cape Cod Food Truck & Craft Beverage Festival

Bring your appetite to the Cape Cod Food Truck & Craft Beverage Festival, where some of New England’s favorite food trucks will dish out everything from barbecue and wood-fired pizza to Korean-inspired fare and gourmet mac and cheese. Enjoy live music, lawn games and family-friendly fun throughout the day.
The 55th Festival of the Arts

Chase Park, Chatham
Sponsored by the Creative Arts Center, the 55th Festival of the Arts features 130 juried local and national artists and artisans showcasing everything from pottery, jewelry and photography to woodworking, metalwork, textiles and fine art. A favorite summer tradition, the festival also includes a children’s tent with face painting and hands-on art activities, making it a fun outing for the whole family.
Annual Fireworks and Beach Party
Saturday, August 29
5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
West Dennis Beach
Wrap up summer with a bang at this free annual beach party at West Dennis Beach, featuring live music by Mr. Gotcha starting at 6 p.m. and a spectacular fireworks display around 8:15 p.m. A beach bonfire lights up at 5:30 p.m., perfect for roasting marshmallows and making s’mores. Light sabers, bubble wands and other fun extras will be available for purchase, along with tickets for the giant 50/50 raffle. A free shuttle bus runs from Ezra Baker School and West Dennis Graded School starting at 5 p.m. Please note that pets are not permitted at the event.
