Annual Irish Fest

Celebrate Irish culture with a day of music, dancing and family fun! Enjoy live Irish music, fiddlers and singers, plus dancing performances. Kids can take part in arts and crafts, face painting and leprechaun-themed activities. Entertainment galore and the beginning of the museum’s “Everything is Coming Up Green” month of March! Cape Cod St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Rolling into its 21st year, the Cape’s largest annual celebration of the green has become one of the most anticipated off-season events, drawing upwards of 45,000 spectators! This ultimate St. Patrick’s Day event features marching bands, performers, dancers and some of the most festive floats around. The parade steps off at the intersection of Route 28 and Long Pond Road and stretches two miles through downtown Yarmouth, ending at Higgins Crowell Road. Grab your shamrocks, don your best green gear and join the fun as Yarmouth turns Irish for the day!
67th Annual Home, Garden and Lifestyle Show

Explore the latest ideas for your home, garden and lifestyle at this two-day Spring event! Presented by the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce and the Hyannis Rotary Club, the show features local vendors, exhibitors and experts offering services, products and inspiration for renovations, landscaping, décor and more. Admission is free — plus it’s a great way to learn, connect with professionals and support community programs with proceeds going back to local grants and scholarships.
The Secret World of Fireflies

Join Plymouth County Entomologist, Blake Dinius, and learn how to decode a firefly’s signals and what can be done to protect them. Hosted by Janice Donovan, manager of the historic Shirley G Cross Wildflower Garden, Blake will explain the mysteries behind the insect’s biology and ecology, including what they’re really doing when they light up our yards at night. He’ll also tell us about threats facing the estimated 170 varieties in North America, as well as how to protect them. Members: $18; non-members: $20. Click here for tickets.
