Seasonal service shores up the mid-Cape’s urgent care needs
Summertime can be eventful. There are more people, more activities, more sunburns and scratches from sharp shells at the beach. For the summer, the mid-Cape is even more prepared to manage the uptick in medical needs with a new seasonal Urgent Care center.
Osterville Urgent Care opened May 17 in the John and Marjorie McGraw Medical Complex at 770 Main Street. This new urgent care center is funded with support from a generous gift provided by John and Marjorie McGraw. Osterville Primary Care, which opened in September 2020, is also located at the newly renovated medical complex.

Osterville Urgent Care will offer medical care from May to September for residents, summer residents and visitors. Walk-in COVID-19 rapid testing, on-site X-ray and IV fluid administration will also be available at the facility, which will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with no appointment or referral needed.
“The addition of seasonal urgent care at the new John and Marjorie McGraw Medical Complex in Osterville represents our commitment to increased access to the highest quality care for our community and visitors,” said Michael Lauf, president and CEO, Cape Cod Healthcare. “We extend our sincere gratitude to the McGraw family and others who continue to support our mission to provide the best possible care for our patients on Cape Cod.”
The Osterville site joins Urgent Care in Falmouth, Hyannis, Harwich, Osterville and Sandwich, with the anticipated opening of a new Urgent Care in Orleans in 2022.
