JML Care Center Celebrates Renewal JML Care Center Celebrates Renewal

A special event showcased major upgrades and improvements at the Falmouth facility

JML Care Center staff, Cape Cod Healthcare senior leadership and members of the local community attended a special event on Oct. 13 celebrating the renewal of JML in Falmouth. The program kicked off with a welcoming reception, followed by a virtual tour narrated by Colleen Pino, Executive Director of JML. The celebration concluded with remarks from Michael Lauf, President and CEO of Cape Cod Healthcare, and George Lilly, speaking on behalf of his family.

As part of Cape Cod Healthcare’s strategic plan, a major and comprehensive effort has brought substantial upgrades and improvements to the 132-bed JML Care Center to meet the needs of the Cape Cod community. A new wing was built to allow the creation of private rooms on the rehabilitation floor. This new addition has been named in memory of Josiah K. Lilly III.

The JML renewal has been part of the Quality. Trust. Partnership. Campaign for Cape Cod Healthcare, a comprehensive fundraising effort to raise $125 million for facilities and services across the Cape.
